This is a Baum antique burglar resistant jewelry chest. It is designed to give you excellent protection from burglary, pilferage or forced entry attempt. It's interesting rectangular shape provides plenty of room to store all your valuable items like cash, jewelry, cameras, personal electronics, etc.... It also comes with a tubular steel stand that appears to have been made for this safe. This jewelry chest likely came from the factory mounted inside a very large fire safe so it could give both burglar and fire protection at the same time. By itself, it primarily used for burglar resistance and offers no fire resistance.
