This is a used Pro-Steel burglar resistant gun safe. Likely made by Provo Steel (Pro-Steel) in Provo, Utah. They're famous for the Browning line of gun safes that are so popular. The lock is date stamped 11/81 so the safe is from the early 1980's. It is designed to give you excellent protection from burglary, pilferage or forced entry attempt. There's plenty of room to store all your valuable items like rifles, handguns, cash, jewelry, cameras, personal electronics, etc.... It's primarily used for burglar resistance and offers no fire resistance. It is large enough to store a small fire rated safe inside so you can have the best of both worlds!
It comes with:
* 1" x 2" rectangular tube door and door frame construction
* 1/8" thick steel door and body
* 2 non-original wooden shelves which are adjustable
* UL Listed Sargent and Greenleaf Group II combination lock
* Punch-resistant lock assembly
* Pre-drilled anchor holes to secure the safe to the floor
* Over 1,000,000 possible combinations
* Drill resistant hardend steel plate protects the lock against drilling attacks.
* Lock and bolt-work has been cleaned, inspected and lubricated to ensure proper operation
* It also incorporates an internal relocking device to deter forced entry
* And, yes friends, there's peg board on the inside of the door. That's the way they used to do it. It can be used to hang pistols, jewelry, etc...use your imagination!
